MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The Latin pop mainstream is influenced by his international popularity. Una Lady Como Tu, the song that he released in 2016, won the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for the Best Song. In 2017, he released ADN which was his debut long-player with La Industria Inc. in Medellin. In the Top Latin Albums chart ranked it at number 8. Vaina Loca, it was the Top Five hit of Ozuna's Top Five album in 2007 was the album that brought him into Ozuna. He was a part of the team together with Noriel in the song Mala Influencia in the year 2020. He next year, dropped his sophomore album charting Dopamina. The year 2021 was the first time he appeared in a duo with TINI for her viral online single Maldita Foto. The singer appeared with him in 2023 for 2000, which included the smash hit La Bachata. Turizo is from an musical family, as both his parents and brother are musicians. In interviews, Turizo stated that music is a must. When he was young, he taught how to perform on the guitar, piano and the ukulele. He initially wanted to be Veterinarian, however after his brother Julian convinced to him take lessons with the help of a Cuban singer, he changed the direction of his career.
