Rosalia
Rosalia Vila Also known as Rosalia Rosaly, is the Spanish singer of flamenco. Since the age of 13, Rosalia Vila is a part of popular music as well as flamenco. She also explores various genres, including hip-hop soul and trap. Her voice is described by no less a talent than Flamenco guitar player Pepe Habichuela as sweet and sharp, however with a bit of bite similar to those of the past. El Mal Querer gained her critical acclaim and commercial success following her debut album Los Angeles was released in 2017. This album won her the Latin Grammy Award for Best New Artist. La Fama, featuring The Weeknd, was released in 2021. Motomami, her third album included songwriting collaborations with Cory Henry and James Blake. The set was launched following Saturday Night Live's show Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia is the first Spanish artist to appear alone on the popular program. Along with taking home three more Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia was also the first female to be awarded the Latin Album of the Year twice.
